Sam Levitz vs Samuel Levitz - a Battle of the Ages

Hum, Sam Levitz furniture or Samuel Levitz? Are you as confused as I am? If I do a search on Bing, Yahoo, or MSN, I seem to always come up with the furniture store in Arizona.

It is actually a simple answer. Scores of people each day chat about the furniture company online through newsgroups, blogs, articles, ads, etc. Google and the other search engines love this type of relevancy.

My staff asked me if I noticed this and if it bothered me that the Sam Levitz Furniture was ranked higher than Samuel Levitz in all the search engines.

I had to think about that question for a while. The question itself drives deep into the ego…..Should I care that there is a Sam Levitz taking a higher position in Google than my name of Samuel Levitz?
